Safety and terms
The Bike Kitchen Beirut acts only as a classifieds platform. We do not sell items on behalf of others, we collect no payments from buyers, and we make no guarantee about any item, price or seller. Every sale is arranged directly between buyer and seller.
If you are selling
- •You must own the item, or be authorised by the owner to sell it.
- •Stolen, counterfeit, illegal or misleading items are strictly prohibited.
- •Any known damage, wear or missing parts must be disclosed in the listing.
- •Damaged, swollen or unsafe batteries will not be accepted.
- •The Bike Kitchen Beirut may reject, suspend or remove any listing at any time.
Every seller must accept this declaration before submitting a listing: “I confirm that I own this item or am authorized to sell it, and that the information and photographs provided are accurate.”
If you are buying
- •Inspect the item in person before paying anything.
- •Meet in a safe, public location — never at a private residence.
- •Never send an advance deposit, transfer or online payment.
- •Ask for proof of ownership or purchase for higher-value bicycles.
- •Report anything suspicious. We review and remove reported listings.
Not sure about a bicycle? Book a pre-purchase inspection and we will check it over before you buy.
Privacy
We never publish a seller's email address, exact address or full frame serial number. Phone numbers are shown only after a visitor asks to see them. Reports are confidential — the seller is never told who reported a listing.
Listings expire automatically and can be renewed by their owner. We may keep records of removed listings for moderation purposes.
